Who we are
THE CAMPUS is an organization based in California building a retreat for veterans, first responders, and uniformed service members. This policy explains what happens to information when you use this website.
What this site collects on its own
Very little. This website sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no tracking of its own. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar service. We do not sell or share personal information.
Standard web server logs may record your IP address and browser type as part of normal operation.
The donation page
Donations are handled by Zeffy, a third-party fundraising platform, with payments processed by Stripe. When you donate, the information you enter goes to them, not to us. Their handling of your data is governed by their own policies.
The Zeffy donation form also loads several other services that may collect information about your activity on that page:
- Stripe — payment processing
- HubSpot — marketing and customer relationship tracking
- Google Ads / DoubleClick — advertising conversion measurement
- Microsoft Clarity — session recording, which may capture how you move and interact on the page
- Datadog — performance and error monitoring
These services are embedded within Zeffy's donation form. We do not control them, we do not configure them, and we do not receive their data. We disclose them because they run on a page you visit here.
Because of this, our donation form does not load until you choose to load it. If you would rather not, you can donate directly through Zeffy's own page instead.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request not to load the donation form's third-party services, and we will not show you a consent prompt.
Your choices
You can change your decision about the donation form at any time using the Donation form preferences link in the site footer.
California residents
California law gives residents rights regarding personal information, including the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sharing of personal information for advertising purposes. This site collects almost nothing directly; the third-party services described above are the relevant ones, and the donation form does not load without your action.
